Listen
These three written and self-produced tracks live at the intersection of trip-hop, soul, jazz, and cinematic retro R&B. Each one blends layered harmonies, vintage textures, and emotionally charged vocals. I’d love to know if one resonates with you as a potential mix project.
1. Tell Me Who Are You
Lazy, sensual, and haunting, this track unspools like a question you’re not ready to answer. Two layers of rhythm drive the mood: a slow, swaggering pulse beneath a delicate breakbeat, like static from a late-night radio.
Velvet harmonies wrap around a vocal that disarms and seduces, drifting between R&B, jazz, and trip-hop. It asks, “Who are you?”, but already knows.
2. Clear
Jazz-inflected and emotionally rich, Clear opens with a woody piano and chaotic, expressive drums that echo the pressure behind the lyric. The vocal is full and grounded, wrapped in soulful harmonies and a swelling, triumphant horn that punches through like a declaration. It’s a song about doing the impossible, turning pressure into something precious, and finding the courage to face what you once ran from. This is the sound of stepping out of fear, fully formed.
3. Drive
Cinematic soul on the run.
A vintage breakbeat powers the escape as she drives through exhaustion, memory, and the pull of what’s behind. You’re not just listening, you’re in the car with her, heading toward something that might not exist.
So I’ll drive. And you don’t look back.
